7. Teams

The Teams feature in AeroMegh Intelligence allows users to collaborate efficiently by managing team members, assigning roles, and controlling access permissions. It enables seamless coordination for project execution while ensuring secure data handling.

With Teams, users can:

  • Create and manage teams.
  • Invite members and assign specific roles.
  • Control access to projects and resources.
  • Switch between multiple teams easily.

7.1 Accessing Teams

To access the Teams section:

  1. Click on the Profile icon in the top-right corner.
  2. Select Teams from the left-side menu.

Here, you can view your existing teams or create a new team.

7.2 Create a Team

The Teams feature in AeroMegh Intelligence allows you to collaborate by adding members and managing roles. Follow the steps below to create a new team.

Step 1: Click on Create Team

  1. On the Teams screen, click Create Team.
  2. The Create New Team screen will appear.

Step 2: Enter Team Details

  1. In the Create New Team screen:

    • Enter a Team Name (required).
      • Team Name should be a maximum of 30 characters.

    • Add a Description (optional).

Step 3: Add Members

  1. Click the (plus icon) next to Add Members.

  2. Enter the email ID of the member you want to add.

  3. To remove an entry before adding, click (X icon).

  4. Repeat to add more members.
🔔 Note: You must add at least one member to enable the Create button.

Step 4: Click Create

  1. Once all details are filled in, click Create.

  2. A confirmation message appears:
    • “Team created successfully.”

🔔 Note: Each added team member will receive an email invitation to accept or reject the invite.

7.3 Managing Teams

The Manage Teams feature in AeroMegh Intelligence allows you to edit team details, manage members, and delete teams when needed. Follow the steps below to modify or remove a team.

Editing a Team

You can update a team’s name and description, and manage its members.

Step 1: Access the Edit Team Option

  1. On the Teams screen, locate the team you want to modify.

  2. Click the three dots () in the last column of the respective team.

  3. Select Edit from the dropdown menu.

  4. The Edit Team screen appears.

Step 2: Update Team Name and Description

  1. Modify the Team Name if required.
  2. Update the Description (optional).

Step 3: Add a New Member

  1. Click the (plus icon) next to Add Members.
  2. Enter the email ID of the new member.
  3. Repeat to add more members.

🔔 Note: New members receive an email invitation to join the team.

Step 4: Remove a Team Member

  1. Locate the member you want to remove.

  2. Click the three dots () in the last column of the respective member.

  3. Select Delete Member.

  4. The member is removed from the team.

⚠️ Warning: Removing a member cannot be undone. You must re-invite them if needed.

Step 5: Manage Invitations

  • Delete an Invitation:
    Click the three dots () next to a pending or rejected invitation and select Delete Invitation.

  • Resend an Invitation:
    Click the three dots () next to a rejected invitation and select Send Invite Again.

If a team is no longer required, you can delete it permanently.

Step 1: Access the Delete Team Option

  1. On the Teams screen, locate the team you want to remove.

  2. Click the three dots () in the last column of the respective team.

  3. Select Delete from the dropdown menu.

Step 2: Confirm Team Deletion

  1. A confirmation prompt appears.
  2. Click Yes to confirm.
  3. The team is permanently removed from AeroMegh Intelligence.

⚠️ Warning: Deleting a team cannot be undone. Ensure you have backed up any necessary data before proceeding.

7.4 Switch Team

AeroMegh Intelligence allows you to switch between teams to access projects and detectors assigned to you based on your role. This feature ensures seamless collaboration across multiple teams within the platform.

When to Switch Teams?

You may need to switch teams when:
✅ You are a member of multiple teams and need access to different projects.
✅ Your role varies across teams, and you need to work accordingly.
✅ You want to manage detectors and reports available in a different team.

Step 1: Access the Switch Team Option

  1. Navigate to the top bar of AeroMegh Intelligence.

  2. Click on the Switch Team dropdown.

  3. The dropdown will display:
    • A list of available teams where you are a member.
    • Switch to the Main Account option to return to the default account.

Step 2: Select a Team

  1. From the dropdown, click on the team name you want to switch to.

  2. A confirmation message appears:
    • “Are you sure you want to switch to <Team Name> team?”

  3. Click Yes to proceed or No to cancel.

🔔 Note: Switching teams will update your dashboard to show only the projects and detectors assigned to you in the selected team.

Step 3: Switch to the Main Account

If you want to return to your main account, follow these steps:

  1. Click on Switch Team in the top bar.
  2. Select Switch to Main Account from the dropdown.

        3. Confirm the action by clicking Yes in the prompt.
🔔 Note: Your Main Account contains all personal projects and detectors created outside of team collaborations.

Step 4: View Assigned Projects and Detectors

  • After switching, you will see the projects and detectors assigned to you in the selected team.

  • Your role (such as Owner, Manager, Operator, or Viewer) will be displayed next to each project and detector.

  • The level of access you have depends on the permissions granted by the team owner or admin.

🔔 Note: If you do not see a project or detector, it means you have not been granted access. Contact the team owner or admin for permission.

Step 5: Perform Actions Based on Your Role

Your permissions after switching teams depend on the role assigned to you in that team. Below is a table outlining user roles and their permissions:

7.5 Managing Team Invitations

When you add a new member to a team, an invitation is automatically sent to the email ID provided. Depending on whether the email belongs to a registered user or a new user, the process of accepting the invitation differs.

Invitation Process Based on User Type

1. Registered User

 If the invited email ID belongs to an existing AeroMegh Intelligence user:

  1. The user receives an invitation notification in their Profile > Invitations section.

  2. They must log in to AeroMegh Intelligence.

  3. Navigate to Profile > Invitations.

  4. The invited team name and inviter details are displayed.

  5. Click on the three dots (⋮) next to the invitation.

  6. Click Accept to join the team or Reject to decline the invitation.

🔔 Note: Once accepted, the user can access the team projects and detectors based on their assigned role.
2. New User (Non-Registered Email)

If the invited email ID does not belong to an AeroMegh Intelligence user:

  1. The invitation email is sent to their mailbox.

  2. The email contains:
    • The team name they are invited to.
    • The name of the inviter.
    • A button or link to Accept an Invitation.

  3. Clicking Accept Invitation redirects users to the AeroMegh Intelligence registration page.

  4. The user registers by entering their details and completing the registration.

  5. After successful registration, the user must:
    • Log in to AeroMegh Intelligence.
    • Navigate to Profile > Invitations.
    • Click on the three dots (⋮) next to the invitation.
    • Select Accept to join the team or Reject to decline.

🎯 Important: If the new user does not register, they will not be added to the team, and the invitation remains pending until accepted.
